Final Double Page Spread
Editing and How I made them....
I made many changes when designing my double page spread. I firstly started of without coloumns and soon realised that when presented in a magazine, the reader may find it difficult to read because of the crease down the middle of the page. I then re-designed my page so that the text was presented in columns instead. I did this in inDesign where I placed the page onto a blank canvas then placed my text from a work document. I also changed the title of the page so that it wasnt central and could still be read without the page creasing interferring. I much perfer my final design to my previous one as it fits in better with the conventions of a magazine and looks more formal.

I used photoshop to edit and manipulate my images. Firstly I open the image I wanted to use and got rid og the bacground. I did this by using the magnetic lasso tool which allows you to select the section of the image that you want to use. I then copied this into a new layer. Once I had just Natalie and no background I could work on the editing of the image. I adjusted the contrast, brightness and and worked on the levels of the image.
To add text to my double page spread I used Indesign. I did this by removing my old text on my page in photoshop and opening the page without any text in indesign. I then clicked on the text symbol and placed a word document which had my interview in. Next I sorted out the columns so that they were equal sizes and fitted around the image.
